One of the important aspects is security zones &#8211; special territories where any construction work is prohibited or restricted, including the installation of garages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a security zone?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A security zone is an area around a certain infrastructure facility (electrical networks, pipelines, roads, railways, water bodies, etc.), which requires a special mode of use to ensure safety, property preservation and uninterrupted operation of the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The main types of security zones related to the installation of garages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/avtodomik.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\u041e\u0445\u043e\u0440\u043e\u043d\u043d\u0456 \u0437\u043e\u043d\u0438 \u043f\u0440\u0438 \u0432\u0441\u0442\u0430\u043d\u043e\u0432\u043b\u0435\u043d\u043d\u0456 \u0433\u0430\u0440\u0430\u0436\u0456\u0432\" class=\"wp-image-4619\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtodomik.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/avtodomik.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/avtodomik.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/2-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/avtodomik.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/2.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>1.<strong>Security zones of engineering networks:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Electrical networks<\/strong>: it is forbidden to install garages closer than 2 meters from a cable line and at least 10 meters from an overhead line (depending on voltage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gas pipelines<\/strong>: protection zone &#8211; from 2 to 10 meters on both sides of the gas pipeline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Water pipelines and sewag<\/strong>e: usually not less than 3-5 meters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Heating pipelines<\/strong>: minimum distance &#8211; 2-5 meters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. <strong>Railways and highways:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A garage cannot be located closer than 50 m from a railway track and 10-25 m from a public highway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>3. <strong>Water bodies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Riverside protection strips are installed near rivers, lakes, canals (from 25 m to 100 m depending on the type of water body and terrain).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4. <strong>Fire breaks:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The distance between a garage and a residential building or other structures should be from 6 to 15 meters depending on the materials from which the objects are built.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installing a garage within a security zone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Installing a garage within a security zone is possible only with the approval of the relevant services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oblenergo or other electricity supply organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water utilities, gas services, heat supply organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local governments or architectural and construction inspections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Without approval, there is a risk of receiving a demolition order or a fine, and you also expose yourself to danger if it is a question of proximity to communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consequences of violating the rules<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Administrative liability &#8211; fines for unauthorized installation of objects in a security zone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forced dismantling &#8211; by decision of the court or regulatory authorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Danger to life and property &#8211;
